In my time practicing yoga, I often find myself frustrated with my body and myself because regardless of how flexible I may be, my fat simply gets in the way of some of my favorite poses. And while searching for yoga videos on youtube, I became frustrated by watching these thin, svelte ladies do these same poses that I struggle with, but with little to no difficulty! Does that mean they’re “better” than I am at yoga? No, my body is just bigger and has different capabilities. So, I did some more digging around and was able to find a few good sources for people with bodies like mine (fat people) do comfortably practice yoga!

This week, I’ve been focusing less on calories and more on eating healthy. I’ve stopped drinking sodas and I’ve been making my own fresh fruit and vegetable juice.
And I’ve lost a pound and a half! I’m back down to my lowest weight since I’ve started my weight loss journey, and I feel really great. I don’t feel hungry or deprived, I feel healthy and strong. Really excited about my progress.
